Bluegrass Maintenance Quick Guide
Kentucky bluegrass rewards consistent care with a thick, beautiful lawn. Follow these basics for best results.
Watering
Apply 1-1.5 inches of water per week during the growing season, split into 2-3 deep waterings. Reduce in winter but do not let the lawn dry out completely during dry spells.
Mowing
Mow weekly during peak growth in spring and fall. Maintain a height of 2.5-3.5 inches for lawns. Never remove more than one-third of the blade height at a time.
Fertilizing
